In accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, liquid and safety valves (SRLQ) are traditional, directly spring-loaded safety relief valves intended to safeguard vessel components that contain liquid.
When the set pressure is exceeded, Safety Relief Valves are intended to release pressure in the vessel, minimizing the risk of equipment damage and crew injuries. When the pressure within the vessel is lower than the valve’s closing pressure, these valves close after opening.
The liquid and safety relief valves (SRLQ) are built in accordance with ANSI and Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, and they are marked with the ASME code symbol. These safety relief valves are extremely dependable and trustworthy since they were built using tested design principles.
Precision-machined stainless steel moving components, a PTFE disc, and a seal against corrosion or cold welding ensure that the valve will open at the desired pressure for a very long time after installation.
